Dodge Challenger Hellcat Airlift Drift on Floating Platform

Need a lift? Take this cool 90-second Pennzoil spot from J. Walter Thompson for a spin.

Stunt driver Rhys Millen hurtles through the streets of Cape Town, South Africa, in a canary yellow 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat for much of the film, called “Airlift Drift,” promoting the client’s synthetic motor oil made from natural gas. Ultimately, his wild ride hits dizzying heights as four helicopters hoist the vehicle on a specially designed asphalt-topped platform. The car continues to drift and burn rubber like mad as it soars through the night sky, past glittering downtown skyscrapers.

Pennzoil is taking synthetic motor oil performance to a whole new level. See how we take a 707hp Dodge Hellcat Challenger to new heights in a one-of-a-kind Airlift Drift performance. And learn why our best natural gas synthetics are causing industry experts and OEMs like Dodge to make the switch.

We have one awesome Dodge Challenger Hellcat in yellow, riding as fast as hell on the empty streets, drifting and setting the tarmac track on fire, and just when you think it is done, the real fun begins. The hellcat is taken to a whole new level, a unique Airlift Drift performance.
