1969 Dodge Charger By Andy McCoy ! Twin Turbo

Andy McCoy Race Cars just delivered to a customer one unique old school 1969 Dodge Charger that’s sure to get some attention when it hits the track. This twin turbo 1969 Dodge Charger has some killer detail and the power to make it a contender when it makes its debut at the track. Small tire racing is chocked full of Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaro, so when someone builds a car that’s totally different, people definitely take notice. Most fans in the racing world know Andy McCoy for his stunning Pro Mods roaming the drag strips of America, so this 1969 dodge Charger is something a bit different for him.

The 1969 Dodge Charger was delivered to McCoy’s shop with a single turbo setup and in need of some updates to push it to the next level. This 1969 Dodge Charger was stripped down so it could receive some upgrades to the chassis and roll cage. The Mopar also went on a die, having all the glass, front end, and doors replaced with lightweight parts. After the body work was complete the interior got some attention, as well, with the addition of carbon fiber seats and other goodies to help bring the 1969 dodge Charger weigh down even more. The 1969 Dodge Charger was stripped down to the bare bones, from which a solid foundation was laid upon with updated roll cage and chassis work.

Specification Of 1969 Dodge Charger 

The chassis was coated and the body work was finished, from there the car was completely repainted to the vibrant deep blue as you see in the photos. The car was then given it’s twin turbo setup featuring two 94mm Precision turbo chargers. The interior was refinished with new ultra-lightweight carbon fiber seats, and the glass replaced with lightweight lexan. The wheels and tires were mounted up, the suspension dialed in, and the customer is getting a one of a kind Dodge Charger. Another customer car finished and out the door at Andy McCoy Race Cars. This time instead of a 3 second Promod it’s one of the baddest Mopars around. The 1969 Dodge Charger came into the shop as a single turbo drag car and needed some updates and more power to be a true contender.
