Toyota’s F1 driver Timo Glock drove the Formula 1 car along side of the Batmobile which was driven by Jarno Trulli. In our opinion the Batmobile should be the next F1 Safety Car .Silverstone witnessed an unlikely pair of high speed motors sharing a lap on Thursday, as one of Panasonic Toyota Racing’s TF108 Formula 1 cars drove head-to-head with the Batmobile .The star of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, was escorted by Toyota’s Timo Glock around the famous Northamptonshire racetrack. Although 4.5 metres in length, the Batmobile and its owner are used to dealing with tight spots and they handled Silverstone’s corners with ease. The Batmobile is around 3m at its widest point, 4.5m long and 1.5m high and weighs in at around 2.5 tonnes however the absence of a front axle enables it to make extremely tight turns.
